A new untrained worker died of a head injury after he was hit by a falling tree. He was standing at the rear of a skidder being used in a logging operation at the time of the incident. He had been part of the three-person crew for about three weeks, and was helping out where needed at various tasks. The tree faller and skidder operator were experienced.
