La maquinaria pesada, el metal afilado y los productos químicos peligrosos suponen amenazas potenciales para los contratistas de chapistería.- Ergonomía o prácticas laborales deficientes. Las tareas y movimientos repetitivos o incluso los esfuerzos repentinos pueden provocar trastornos musculoesqueléticos (TME), también conocidos como lesiones por esfuerzo repetitivo (LER). Los TME son un paraguas de lesiones que afectan a articulaciones, músculos, tendones y nervios.
