WHAT TYPES OF FIBRES ARE USED TO MAKE ROPE SLINGS?
Fibres used to make rope slings generally fall into two catergories:- Natural such as abaca (Manila) fibre.
- Synthetic, including: nylon, polyester, polypropylene, Kevlar.
- Choose the sling material that best matches the needs of the job being done.
- Flexible.
- Shock absorbent.
- Non abrasive.
