Forklift Safety – The Danger Zone Picture This

Workers are riding on a moving forklift, which is strictly prohibited. Forklifts are not designed for passengers, and this behavior puts both the riders and surrounding workers in immediate danger. Additionally, other workers are walking in close proximity, potentially within the forklift’s rear swing radius—commonly known as the danger zone.
Only the trained and authorized operator should be on a forklift. Riders should never be allowed, even for short distances. Pedestrians must keep a safe distance from forklifts and stay out of the rear swing area to avoid being struck during turns or reversing. Reinforce training on designated pedestrian walkways and equipment operation protocols.
