Officials say Kenneth Crowe was climbing on the back of a trailer. He was trying to lock the door when he fell backward and landed on the concrete. Officials say he was unconscious and later died at  the Regional Hospital.

The following statement from Advics was received.

“ADVICS Manufacturing Indiana had an unfortunate event that occurred on Monday, October 12, involving a truck driver employed by an independent trucking company. The individual had pulled away from the dock and was attempting to close his trailer door when he fell backwards and landed on concrete. Due to this individual not being an ADVICS employee, we unfortunately have no additional details available to share. The management and team members of ADVICS Manufacturing Indiana offer our condolences to the family and friends of this individual.”
